The Lazys and the Standstills // the Deaf Idols

104.9 the Wolf and the Exchange present the Lazys and the Standstills. Australian rockers the Lazys have nothing to left to prove around these parts, but that hasn't stopped them from coming through with full-volume, high-energy rock. The five gents can't leave Canada alone, moving to Toronto and taking every opportunity they can to raise Hell across the country. Their latest full-length, Tropical Hazards, came out in 2018.

Oshawa, ON rock duo the Standstills is is fresh off touring with Our Lady Peace and I Mother Earth, where they brought their essentials-only hard rock to thrilled crowds night after night. Made up of singer/guitarist Jonny Fox and drummer Renée Couture, the group provides a mix of dirty rock and roll with psychedelic flourishes, drawing in fans from across the rock spectrum. Their debut full-length, Badlands, is forthcoming soon on eOne Music.

Regina rock group the Deaf Idols opens.
