The Deadly Auntie comedy trio comes from the depths of turtle island to bring medicine in the form of laughter while stealing your uncle's hearts. ❤️

Stephanie Pangowish

Stephanie is an artist that focuses on humorous storytelling at festivals, workshops and now as one of the first Female Pow wow MCs in Ontario. Stephanie's achievements include being a TedX Speaker on Indigenous Humor and Resiliency, Co-founder of Canada’s first Indigenous female comedy group, Manifest Destiny’s Child, Performing at Gchi-dewin Storytelling Festival, University of Alberta, ROM & TIFF. She’s Lectured on Indigenous Humor in many post-secondary institutions across North America and has recently written for the Indigenous Comedy TV series, Acting Good.

 

Sherry McKay

Sherry Mckay is an Ojibway Anishinabe woman from Treaty 1 Territory. Born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba and band member of Sakgeeng First Nation, with roots in Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation, and Beren’s River. 

She’s a stand-up comedian, Influencer, Tiktok creator, producer, writer and mom of 4. Her focus is to assert Indigenous representation in media and film as well as write, produce and star in her own sitcom series. 

Sherry has amassed a following of 500k followers on her verified Tiktok account where she likes to focus on Indigenous comedy and awareness.

 

Cheyenna Sapp

Cheyenna Sapp is a deadly aunty, actress, and comedian from Little Pine First Nation in Treaty 6 territory. She is currently a full-time student at the University of Saskatchewan with plans to complete both a 4-year Bachelor of Arts Degree and a 1-year wîcêhtowin Indigenous Theatre Certificate in the spring of 2023. You can catch her on CTV and Crave as the quirky romantic Rose Sinclair in a brand new sitcom called "Acting Good".
