firestarter is an apt name for Jaye Kovach's bubblegum-industrial avant-pop project. Her blistering guitar and synths sizzle and splutter out from around raw, thick drum machine beats –– ember-like slow-burns radiating intense, glowing heat, flared-out rave-ups that blaze furiously from a solid core of incadenscent punk. Her latest EP, Pathological Narcissism, came out in 2017.

Regina drone and feedback artist witchknife, garage rockers Spationauts, and Leo Keiser and Colin Tether trash blues project Mechadroid open.
